  • 4 oz thinly sliced Swiss cheese Creamy and mildly nutty, pairs well with other ingredients.
  • 2 oz thinly sliced Granny Smith apple (optional garnish) Adds a crunchy texture and tangy sweetness.

Preparation

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and whole-berry cranberry sauce; mix until smooth.
  • Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread about ¼ of the cranberry mixture evenly on the tortilla.
  • Layer thinly sliced roast turkey on top of the cranberry spread, followed by Swiss cheese, and optional Granny Smith apple slices.
  • Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla tightly around the fillings.
  • Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Unwrap the chilled roll and slice each roll into 8 equal pieces. Arrange on a serving platter.

Notes

These pinwheels can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container for up to three days. For a healthier version, consider whole wheat or spinach tortillas and Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
