Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups chocolate cookie crumbs Oreos work great!
  • 0.25 cups melted butter
For the cheesecake filling
  • 3 packages cream cheese, softened 8 oz each
  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1 cups sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 15-20 pieces Reese's peanut butter cups, chopped
For the ganache
  • 1 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cups chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cups peanut butter chips
For serving
  • Caramel sauce optional, for drizzling
  • Whipped cream optional, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by combining chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.
  2. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your springform pan.
Make the Cheesecake Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
  2. Whisk in sour cream and vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Fold in creamy peanut butter and chopped Reese's cups.
Bake the Cheesecake
  1. Pour filling over the prepared crust and bake in a preheated oven until the center is slightly wobbly.
Chill the Cheesecake
  1. Allow the cheesecake to cool, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Prepare the Ganache
  1. Heat heavy cream until boiling and pour it over chocolate and peanut butter chips.
  2. Stir until smooth and let it cool slightly.
Decorate and Serve
  1. Release the cheesecake from the springform pan and transfer to a serving platter.
  2. Drizzle ganache on top and finish with extra Reese's cups and whipped cream.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free chocolate cookie crumbs. For a dairy-free version, substitute cream cheese, sour cream, and heavy cream with dairy-free alternatives.
