Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup sweetened condensed milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually pour in 1 can (12 oz) Mountain Dew while mixing gently to preserve carbonation.
  • Transfer the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  • Pour the churned ice cream into a suitable container, cover it, and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours to firm up.
  • Serve the Mountain Dew Ice Cream in bowls or cones with a dollop of whipped cream on top.

Notes

For best results, store in an airtight container in the freezer. Lasts up to 2 weeks, but best enjoyed fresh. For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream. Experiment with different soda flavors for a unique twist.
