  • 2 slices slices of bread (your choice, toasted or not) Choose your preferred type of bread.
  • 1 piece cooked chicken breast, shredded Perfectly tender and juicy.
  • 1 ripe avocado avocado, mashed Smooth and creamy with a hint of nuttiness.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or mozzarella, melty and flavorful.
  • to taste Salt and pepper To enhance all the delicious flavors.
  • as needed Butter or oil For grilling, to create a golden, crispy crust.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the mashed avocado. Season with a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Butter one side of each bread slice.

Assembly and Cooking

  • On the non-buttered side of one slice, spread a generous layer of the chicken and avocado mixture. Top with shredded cheese.
  • Place the other slice of bread on top, ensuring the buttered side is facing out.
  • Grill in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Consider adding veggies like spinach or tomatoes for extra nutrition. Grill marks can be improved by using a panini press.
