Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your donut pan by lightly greasing it.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
  • In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
  • Fold the wet and dry ingredients together gently until just incorporated—do not overmix.
  • Pipe the batter into each cavity of the donut pan, filling them about three-quarters full.

  • Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Glazing

  • Mash 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries and strain to extract their juice.
  • Whisk the blueberry juice and powdered sugar together until smooth and glossy.
  • Dip the cooled donuts into the blueberry glaze and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs. Allow the glaze to set for about 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of lemon zest to the glaze or replacing half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour. Substituting brown sugar can add depth, and adding spices like cinnamon or nutmeg gives a seasonal flair.
