Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place the chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound them to a ½-inch thickness.
  • In three shallow dishes, whisk the eggs, combine breadcrumbs with Parmesan, and keep one dish for plain breadcrumbs.

Breading

  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, then coat them in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently.

Cooking

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded chicken inside, ensuring space for circulation.
  • Cook chicken for about 12 minutes. Flip and cook for additional 8-10 minutes until golden.
  • Spoon marinara sauce over each piece and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  • Air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.

Serving

  • Allow chicken to rest for 2 minutes before serving.
